Lacombe Heart and Soul For Haiti Fundraiser Feb. 5, 2010
On Friday February 5 2010 the Central Alberta community was invited to the Heart and Soul for Haiti benefit concert held at the College Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lacombe Alberta. The performances were provided by students and faculty from the Canadian University College who sponsored the concert in partnership with A Better World, a Central Alberta based international development organization supported and managed entirely by volunteers. The funds raised from donations at the concert will go towards water systems, food, rebuilding clinics and shelter for the citizens of Haiti who were devastated by a magnitude 7 earthquake on January 12 2010.
